DBT-Informed Youth Skills Group (12-18 years)
Are you a young person between 12 and 18 years old?
Do you feel overwhelmed, stressed, sad, or anxious in your daily life?
Would you like to learn skills to help decrease the intensity of your emotions?
This 8-week DBT-Informed Youth Skills Group teaches concrete strategies to help youth manage stress and complex emotions, decrease anxiety, and build self confidence.
Youth participants will learn skills informed by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. The group facilitators promote a welcoming, inclusive environment and will teach skills through verbal instruction, video presentations and group discussions. Youth are encouraged to contribute within the group based on their individual level of comfort.

Online weekly ZOOM group sessions occur from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. every week for 8 weeks.
Participation in all 8 sessions is recommended.
What is the cost?
The cost of the group is $162 for each 2-hour group session.
A receipt to present to your insurance company will be provided.
