As a practicum therapist, Amanda provides individual therapy under the supervision of Jamie Brooks, M.Sc., C. Psych.


Amanda's enduring interest in human behaviour, interpersonal dynamics, and psychology, complemented by her passion for helping others, have propelled her towards a career as a psychotherapist.


She is completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Amanda’s desire to understand and connect with others and empathic, compassionate nature inform her approach to therapy. Amanda is trained in various evidence-based frameworks such as Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Brief Solution- Focused Therapy, and is interested in 'third wave' approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
