M.A., R.P.

Registered Psychotherapist

Central to my work is the belief that beyond the pain and difficulties we go through, there is always a spark of hope, as well as untapped strengths and resilience within each of us. I think it can guide our work together.

Background

I completed a Master’s degree in spiritual care and psychotherapy from Martin Luther University College in 2024 following a Bachelor’s degree in religious studies and anthropology at the Université de Montréal as well as research in Canada and Central Asia. My deep passion for human experience, meaning-making, and intercultural communication is the unifying thread of my work.

Areas of Focus

  • Life transition

  • Religious and spiritual issues (including religious trauma and scrupulosity)

  • Meaning making

  • Relationships and attachment

  • Sexuality

  • Interpersonal trauma

  • Depression,

  • As well as those looking for growth, meaning, and greater connection in their lives.

Therapeutic Style

My approach is integrative, shaped collaboratively with each client around their needs and preferences. At its core is a humanistic and experiential orientation, one that values the quality of the relationship we build together, and our shared capacity to experience a full range of emotions in the here-and-now of therapy. I also draw on psychodynamic insight, exploring how the unconscious shapes the way we relate to others and experience emotion in the present.

You can count on me to show up as a warm, affirming presence as we explore the complexity and the richness of what it means to be human. I love drawing on metaphors and imagery from popular culture, literature, mythology, and religious traditions to help illuminate the process of transformation.
